Mama's angels and the nature 🌱.

Well, it is an old expression that says that children do not do what the parents say but they do copy their behaviour. The whole thing means that we don’t need to say to children what to do, they will follow our steps through years. Don’t be afraid about it!

Going in a country side and play hide and seek.

Do you remember this game we all have done in our childhood? Mmm our childhood? It looks like eons ago 😆 Oh boy, children now-days carry the I-pad or I phone everywhere with them, even when they go to the shower or in the toilets. Even our husbands behave like that 😆 they do pretend they concentrate better there, leaving the body distress at all the times, without doing properly and normally the process of pulling out the proceed food. It looks gross I know but even this process it has its own importance as all the organs, gut and small and large intestine. The mind on the other side it’s concentrated in the online conversations and replying to other people, so we end up staying longer at toilets and mostly having constipation.

Going even once per week at park or better in a country without any electronic advice, discovering plants, flowers, playing around and before sleeping telling to your children old stories. It may seem odd in our modern society but that how we can contribute to rise the interest in our children for the beauty and the importance that nature has.

we have become colder every time we come up to a topic about nature, phyto-therapy, healing remedies and old nature medicine that our ancestors were using for hundred years. What is left from them? Well, almost nothing, everything has vanished and has lost its importance. who cares, at the end now days we do have pharmacies, pain killers, hospitals, and plenty of online information by unprofessional people. Google is there so are our children.

🧶 How can we go opposite the social ideology of what is old and what is modernistic way of thinking and doing?

To this point nothing has a certain prescription because nothing can be totally right or completely wrong. But, we can propose to play with our children with garden flowers, cook for them meal that include plants and spices. Make flower bath, drink herbal teas and even heal small wounds and cuts with balms that we had prepare at home with different flowers and organic oils.

• Make a healthy colourful salad at home. the table should look healthy & inspiring.

• quiz your children to find the names of different flowers and plants. they don’t need to know everything, maybe they won’t be botanists :p or maybe yes, we never know. never say never!

• Create galleries in small albums collecting flowers and memory pictures from different picnics you did last summer, or last year. Some memories last forever they say!

Nourishing your body and your baby’s feet, hands and make them decide their favourite one, make them to enjoy and love it, as a mind game which can be productive in the future. Your children maybe will be studying in science or media but they will still know the importance of the nature that surrounds us all. Knowledge it should never seems like an empty baggage.

🗣 It all starts with not having enough time.

Time is relative, if we do not have time to do such rituals and play games with our children, we should be very considered about what electronic advices can cause to the kid's mind. a robotic mind it will always feel an emptiness inside. Nothing it's impossible, the most difficult part is to not be part of the solution but to invest on something just because we are quite busy with our jobs and paying taxes. At the end all mamas want their children to be better than them, don’t they? Of course yes, for every mama their children are the most precious species on earth 🌏.
